New Concept for 2013: ”Continental Week” – Expanded Periods For the Budget Conscious Traveler Who Loves Fresh, Local, Organic, Healthy Food
We love what we do and we have truly discovered that each upcoming guest is simply a friend that we haven’t yet met! However, it’s important in life to find balance between work that you love, family to nurture you and other activities that bring you joy. In order to do that, in 2013 we are hoping to take more vacations, work less and play more! We also realize that some people would love to stay with us to enjoy the ambiance of our lovely character home, the warm & welcoming atmosphere and our great location on Commercial Drive, but really prefer a delicious healthier breakfast and also like to spend less of their vacation budget on accommodation. In order to embrace these concepts, and because they have been so well received during our vacation times, we are expanding our “Continental Breakfast” periods to one week of each month, in addition to when we go on vacation. Guests have commented that they love our continental breakfasts and can’t imagine wanting more! What’s not to like? You still wake up to the wonderful aroma of home made muffins, scones, or cinnamon buns wafting up from the kitchen, and you get to enjoy them along with a lovely buffet breakfast of delicious home made Bee & Thistle hazelnut cranberry granola, fresh fruit (local and organic when possible), fresh juice, a selection of your favorite yogurt flavors and organic, fair trade coffee (roasted in Vancouver), or you can select your favorite from a wide array of teas from Two Leaves & A Bud. (Note: we are not 100% organic, but do what we can within our room pricing structure.) If you wish to take advantage of the lower rates during our continental breakfast periods, please select the following dates in our calendar:

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Above rates are based on double occupancy per room. We welcome children and families, space permitting. Any additional guests four years old and older, in the same room, will be charged $35/person/night. However, due to space limitations in the dining room, we can only accept two persons per room from April 1st to October 31st.
Much as we love animals, we must enforce a “no pets” rule.
We are a no smoking facility. Smoking on the premises is permitted only on our veranda or balcony and then only if no one else is using the veranda or balcony.
DEPOSIT & CANCELLATIONS
We require a deposit equal to the applicable room rate for one night (plus applicable taxes) in order to secure your reservation. The deposit will be refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee, subject to notice being provided via e-mail to email@example.com a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled check-in date.
If you have a food allergy, please let us know prior to your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. However, we do use nuts and a wide variety of ingredients in our kitchen and cannot guarantee that our food will not have been in contact with them.
Check In/Check Out/Left Luggage
Check in time is between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. However, we try to be flexible so please contact us if you need to make alternative arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate you. Check out time is 11 a.m. A late check out may be available for an additional fee. If you require early luggage drop off, please let us know when you will be here so we can meet you. We will not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen luggage.
Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM. For early departures, we will be happy to provide you with a continental breakfast to eat in your room or take with you.
We usually have available parking on the street in front of our house. There is also free guest parking located in the lane behind the Guest House.

We will not be responsible for any omission, negligence or error due to website maintenance or difficulties. The property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewellery, or any other valuables. The management reserves the right to assign and reassign the guest to such accommodation as the management sees fit. We operate under the Innkeepers Act. Management reserves the right to hold guests liable for undue damage to property. For your safety, please lock all doors, windows and front main entrance when coming and going.
Your privacy is very important to us! All disclosed information including your email address, name, company name, address, phone number or fax number will be used solely for the purposes of contacting you in reply to your requests for information or reservations availability and is not sold, rented or otherwise given to third parties and is divulged only when you request us to make a reservation. Personal information and/or credit card information is used solely for processing your payment.
